Going to a luxury resort quite often seems out of the question but with the pound fairly rubbish at the moment and holiday companies offering a good bargain, it’s very easy to find a rather luxurious trip at a bargain price.
So where can you go to get a luxurious trip for a bargain price?
If you’re looking long distance then the Far East is definitely your best spot followed by the Middle East.
While if you’re looking for something closer, I would definitely recommend somewhere like Paris.
Thailand has been doing luxury on a budget for as long as I can remember and I love the country for this alone. Plus Thailand is the land of smiles so the customer service is impeccable.
I absolutely loved Thailand during my last visit and ended up spending some time in Hua Hin. There are a load of beautiful luxury hotels there from boutiques to the more larger resorts.
I absolutely LOVE Las Vegas and the pure number of rooms mean that you can always pick up a bargain.
Especially if you’re willing to go a little further off the strip.
And if you’re looking to save some cash on food, loads have deals especially if you fancy a bit of a gamble while you’re there.
I’m a big fan of holiday sites where you can get a mystery hotel really cheap or sometimes by picking a package which includes a hotel and transportation there.
It definitely works in your favour. I managed to get a good deal at the Renaissance near the Louvre in Paris.
It was such a stunning hotel that felt boutique even though it was a large chain. And they left some wonderful gifts during turn down service including madeleines and fancy hot chocolate.
I headed here earlier this year and had the best time staying at the Doubletree Resort on Marjan Island.
While I was there on a press trip, I enjoyed it so much that I looked up how much it would cost to stay there as I really want to bring my mum here. The hotels and resorts in RAK are so cheap! And most of them are half board which means you get more luxury for your stay.
Plus there’s lots of things to do outside the resorts from 4×4 driving to kayaking in the mangroves.
I know that sounds a bit odd. You don’t tend to think of Hong Kong being a luxury bargain but if you look at hotels there last minute you can find a great deal.
And it’s also the spot where you can get cheap Michelin star food.
This post was in partnership with www.Destination2.co.uk. However all views on luxury bargains are my own.
