What’s the story? November 20, 2016

It’s been a while dear blog but things have been incredibly busy.

I write this sat in an incredibly busy Starbucks as we are still waiting for the ‘internet guy’ to come and fix our wifi. We’ve still got a week to wait and omg seriously….what did we do without wifi?!!

This is also the first time i’ve opened my laptop and typed something for around two weeks and it’s been so good to get away from it and take a break for a bit.

So what’s been going on?

I went to Australia

Yeah that was a weird one. I just decided a week before and booked the tickets and it was exactly what I needed. There was sun and there was a beach and there was coffee. Epicness.

My family live in South Australia and it’s become one of my favourite places in the world. It’s so underrated which means you get to find lots of hidden places such as the beautiful beaches.

Another highlight of the trip was a visit to Melbourne, a city I have never visited before and I loved it. The coffee shops were amazing and there were so many things to see and do that we ran out of time to do everything.

Although we did get to tour the Australian Open venue and even play on one of the courts.

I saw Andy Murray at the ATP World Tour

On that tennis theme, my aunt was given tickets to the ATP World Tour semi finals and she asked me to come along with her.

I was so excited and even more so when I found out that we’d be seeing Andy Murray! I would have been excited to have seen the Djokovic match but seeing Murray in London was absolutely brilliant.

As usual, it was painful to watch at points with so many points given away. The atmosphere was incredible and when he won me and my aunt leapt into the air and cheered.

It was one of those moments where you can’t believe how lucky you were to have seen such a match.

I started a new job

I have now started freelancing for another newspaper in London and I am so excited. I still work for my other employer three days a week but then I work for the new one on weekends.

I’m looking forward to branching out in the work that I do and also making new contacts.

It’s all looking incredibly positive.
