Guys it’s actually warm outside! I have my window open, a skirt and a t-shirt on and I am ready for summer 2019 to begin.
Of course, it’s England so it will probably last for two weeks. But it’s warm!
Thanks to the lovely weather and a convenient day off, I ventured to Chelsea to see the Chelsea in Bloom installations around the city.
Chelsea in Bloom coincides with the Flower Show. The installations around the city are part of an annual competition.
And the best bit? It’s all free!
It’s not just Chelsea that’s been decorated, there’s lots of places in the city that have also taken part. Including Annabel’s. It’s decorated for every season – I’ve featured it here on the blog at Christmas before.
There’s also a few places in Covent Garden that are decorated for the season.
The theme this year is Under the Sea and it’s also aiming to raise awareness for Plastic Oceans.
According to the website, there are over 80 shops participating in the event – I didn’t see them all but hope I found the good ones!
Most of them are found at Sloane Street, Duke of York Square and the King’s Road.
My only gripe? The amount of influencers changing outfits in front of the installations to get the best snaps. Come on guys. Just take the damn picture.
If you are going to visit sans suitcase with spare changes of clothes, then make sure you go quickly!
The installations are only around until the end of the week, which is a bit of a shame really as they look so pretty!
